Walt's Fish Market, Restaurant and Tiki Bar
Apparently this is one of the oldest fish restaurants in Sarasota. It has an old world vibe. It smells like fish when you walk in. The menu is very extensive and the place is huge. If you want any kind of seafood you should be able to find it. I had the bouillabaisse which is a fall special and it was outstanding. Betsy and Dona both had fresh catch preparations which were good but nothing really special. The smoked fish dip we had as a starter was so good we bought some to take home. Overall my impressions of Walt's were - it's a good place to eat fish but it could use a little updating both menu and ambience.
